CELL-CUP INTERNATIONAL HANDBALL FESTIVAL

To these days the Cell-Cup is one of the largest handball festivals in Europe, where, in addition to high-quality matches played exclusively indoor halls, we also make sure that the days spent with us are an experience of a lifetime with many special programs. The center of the Cell-Cup is Veszprém, the city of the queens, which is the home of the MVM Veszprém handball team, that participates in the Champions League.

Our handball festival is a major event of the EHF, which is also the exam base for the EHF Young Referee program.

Veszprém

The citadel of Hungarian handball, the home of Telekom Veszprém and the city of queens. Lake Balaton is only 15 km away. There are many handball teams and academies in town!

Balaton

One of the pearls of Hungary, also known as the "Hungarian Sea". It is an extremely popular holiday destination, not only among Hungarians, but also internationally. In addition to the beaches of the lake, there are many aqua parks nearby, as well as numerous other leisure opportunities in the area.

Programs

The tournament kicks off with a spectacular opening gala, followed by exciting matches over the whole week, culminating in a ceremonial closing gala. During the tournament, colorful programs await the participating teams in the evenings to make the week spent here truly a lifelong experience.

Veszprém Arena

The citadel of the Telekom Veszprém handball team. It is the venue for the opening and closing gala and the final matches will take place here as well. During the tournament, in addition to the Arena, the matches will take place in 10-15 other excellent sports halls in and around Veszprém.
